HOME FOR THE AGED
"ROJAVANAM"home for the aged was started in the year 2013 mainly to address the growing trend of abandoning aged parents in old age homes due to multiple reasons.Though legal provisions are there to provide care for senior citizens,the status of the senior citizen in our working areas are pathetic.Main reasons for this is,the sons and daughters consider aged parents as burdens,and hence they treat them as household articles and abandon them altogether.Hence we call these homes as"A Home Away From Home".Total Number Of Inmates-253.
Aims & Objectives
- To help needy aged,irrespective of caste.
- Providing a safe and healthy environment for senior citizens.
- To promote National Integration and Unity of the Country.
- Facilitating the retired people to live a peaceful life without being a burden to others.
- To encourage the inmates to actively participate in the National events and Religious festivals without any religious bias.
